I feel successful! Not about work -- that was only standard. But I finally got around to writing something again, this evening. It's been a while since I've really gotten anything done. But every so often I get in the mood to write an essay, and today I did so

i've heard the ranking solution before; that seems like the best one, in my opinion. another one that would at least be better than the current system is to have a run-off. that way, people could vote third-party and not worry that it would automatically make their least favorite candidate win. i still don't like that one that much. i don't know exactly how the european system works, but they seem to have several parties that do pretty well, so maybe if we switched to something like that, things could be better.

dunno what that frits guy was talking about. there are more choices than that and his didn't really make much sense.
