Why thank you Robert! I AM proud to be called a geek!

And I gave Hiroshi the URL here a week or two ago. I don't know if he'll ever read it or not.

"...where i realize that i'm not cut out for this kind of thing..."

Yes, I still flip-flop between feeling like I know what's going on to feeling like an idiot. And I can't tell what other people think 'cause they don't usually say. For instance, at the ICESat meeting, one guy (I think my age) thought I was still a grad student. When I told him I graduated 6 years ago, he said "Whoa, did you start grad school when you were five?" I said "Thanks...I think." Not really sure if he was commenting on my youthful grad-student-like appearance or if I just acted like one. At least penguins all blend in.

Ouch! Well, at least people don't think like you look like you're 17... I've gotten that more than once. HELLO! I really CAN watch R-rated movies without my mommy signing off on it! *sigh*

Hi, everyone!

Congratulations, Jenni! You surely deserve chocolate ice cream! I am sure you are qualified to be a geek to write the words like RMS or KRR in your blog :-P
