AGU == Chocolate!

So today my friend Hiroshi (from Japan) and I were IMing and were talking about AGU, which is this big technical conference in December that's held in San Francisco. This is true! Although I was a little disconcerted to find out today, in the hallway, that Greg Holt, who I barely know, is aware of my chocoholism. Srinivas wished him luck tomorrow on his PhD defense and Greg responded, "Thanks. Come: watch and eat my cookies." This, of course, prompted my response: "Cookies? What kind of cookies?" Greg's reply: "There'll be some sort of chocolate, if that's the deciding factor for you to come."

*sigh* I am DEFINITELY becoming too well-known around CSR...

And I thought Hershey, PA was the ultimate chocolate holy place - mmm, the smells of freshly made chocolate wafting through the air, the kiss-shaped streetlights, and the chocolate-themed amusement park = NIRVANA. But even all that was topped by watching you tip a canoe on a Maine lake just feet from the shore. Apparently the weather in Maine is very unpredictable.

Hmmm... Considering only my family and a few other people were in Maine to see that little canoe incident, you're not very annonymous (or ominous!) Wait! I know! You're the WARDEN who made us tip, right?!

And yes... Hershey Park... Ahhhhh....
