The magenta arms I'd say is the most successful piece overall. Though all of the pieces are brimming with great ideas. I can't wait to see what you do in the future with mixing in photographic stuff. I think it works here with the dog-arms because you're doing it in a...Japanese way. You're actually patterning an object with the photo element instead of being a lame-ass and dropping in photos to be random and collage-y.
Yeah.... One of my inspirations is Henry Darger (tho I forgot to add him to my inspiration chart)-- a painter / collage maker who made these huge amazing paintings. But his philosophy was like, just get the image in your head onto the canvas by any means possible. If that means tracing, transferring, copying, collaging, whatever-- do it.
