I spent 96 hours in Las Vegas last week, to "cover" (in my, um, idiosyncratic way) Black Hat / DefCon for TechCrunch. It was a weird time. How weird? Even the infamous John McAfee made an appearance.

Did I run into you at all? I don't think I did, but Vegas is often a bit of a blur for me.

Yeah, likewise. Not that I recall. I departed Friday night before Def Con proper was even half over, so I don't think we actually overlapped by all that much.

I didn't arrive until Thursday afternoon. Black Hat and DEFCON back to back constitute more drinking than I am capable of.
