Snakes on a Plane!

I don't know if anyone still reads this, but just in case, I wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to go to the Snakes on a Plane midnight premier if there is one. Everyone else is advised to do likewise if they, too, wish they were cool. You do want to be cool, don't you? Give into peer pressure! Do it! I'll see you there.

Snakes on a plane? Oh no no no. The title leaves much to be desired, especially since the whole plot is summarized in one line. >_<

That's the point, actually. It's supposed to be tacky. That's what makes it so amusing.
In fact, they tried to change the title to something else, but Samuel L. Jackson said he signed on to the movie just because of the title and refused to let them change it.
Moreover, when it was completed, they feared that it might not get an R rating, so they went back and filmed more scenes of violence and obscenities just in case.
I actually wasn't planning on seeing it at first because I thought it was trying to be serious and just going to be another horrible, stinking pile of hype, but when I learned that they were treating it much in the same manner as everyone else, I changed my mind.
