ScanCafe update

I just got mail that my ScanCafe order is ready for viewing on the web. That's just about exactly 2 months from mailing the package to having the scans ready for review. I'll post some samples in the next few weeks once I have a chance to look at them.

I look forward to hearing about this stage of the experience. If you're reasonably happy, I'll likely use them, too.

Mark's already gotten at least one package back from them.

But he did three or four small orders rather than one big order.

Wow, that was fast for Mark. I wonder if they queue up the big orders later. Mine didn't take long to scan - it took long to get through the queue to be ready for scanning.

I think these were slides rather than negatives. I don't know if that makes a difference.

Yea, I sent over 2,000 of each.

So, is he happy with the results? So far what I can see online looks good.
