All righty. For fast, there's spaghetti with bottled spaghetti sauce. Follow directions on the box for making the spaghetti and you'll be fine.

You like salmon so I have 2 ways of making that. Either splash some bottled teriaki sauce (the kind I use adds pineapple sweetness to its flavoring) and bake in the oven at 325 degrees for about 15-30 minutes (I tend to like mine more well done). I prefer fillets and they don't need to be turned over, the skin side is on the bottom touching the oven pan. Toss some frozen broccoli in the microwave oven for 2-3 minutes (depends on your microwave) as a side dish. I once tried a salmon recipe where it got cooked in a frying pan on the stovetop and while it was delicious, I couldn't stand the smell in my house ( ... )

Yeah spaghetti and some diced tomatoes/tomato sauce is my go-to. So is the salmon, lol. I'll def have to try out the teriyaki. Ooo and the tuna w/ wasabi and pineapple: genius.

Hope this helps!

It did, it did! Thank you *giant hugs*

I do a great deal of cooking from the freezer: frozen broccoli steamed in the microwave + frozen chicken baked in the oven + pasta from the cupboard + seasoning of choice = dinner for three days! And all in less than thirty minutes, assuming your oven works.

There are a few million ways to mix this up: baking the chicken with frozen vegetables and balsamic vinegar, or baking the chicken and then throwing it in with stir-fried frozen vegetables . . . what can I say, I'm on a time limit and a budget! But it works! :)

Ooo! That balsamic vinegar sounds goooood. I'm gonna try it tomorrow.

I love the freezer. I also love the mix-and-match and eat-for-the-week idea. Learned that one real quick cooking for one with zero motivation to cook.

...truer words, my friend. Thanks for the ideas!

Mmm, yummy.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for http://www.channel4.com/food/recipes/chefs/gordon-ramsay/fast-food.html.
I find that having some cooking sauces for meat or pasta in the cupboard always help when you're in a hurry, plus you don't feel so guilty because you're still "cooking" :-)

My fail safe and I LOVE cooking fresh...but this never fails!

Chopped celery , peppers (any colour) onion ( I use leek cos' lazy) Saute for 5 mins in a teaspoon of olive oil. THEN add any Meat of your choice...(I use Chicken or fish but have used more veg no fuss) Add 7oz's long grain rice. Then 3/4 pint of stock (I use chicken) Simmer on heat for 10 minutes. With lid on. Then turn off heat and leave for 20 mins (lid on). PERFECT every time..easy and yummy.

BEST....smoked sausage and Prawn!

Good...Chicken and mussels!

I like....Mushrooms and courgette!

I add a teaspoon of Cayenne to the stock!

Versatile. Sorry for the measurements ..not sure of U.S ones.
