We added a garage when we renovated and added on to our house a few years back, never having had one before, and we have found that it is an unbelievable luxury in the heat of summer and the depths of winter. No baking, no burnt backs of knees! No scraping and shovelling! Enjoy.

And yes, garages are soooo nice. I know I'll be loving it here in a few months, lol.
