Just Too bad NSW considers them to be class B firearms (!). Whilst the rest of the world calls 'em like they are - Sporting Equipment.

no doubt why they are banned. near-perfect replication - even got the double-action-safe-action trigger on the glock. WAY too easy to hold up 7/11 with one of em.
i can't seem to find it again, but there was a picture of the top of the pistol slide showing a very distinctive day-glow orange marking. (same as that they put on the muzzles of toy guns to let the police know it ain't a real gun.)
AFAIK, they arn't banned per se, but they would fall under class B as paintball marker (for the rifles especially) and probably class H for the pistol. (the rifles are available with the bright orange barrel tips as well).
And regardless it would be illegal to wield one in public anyhow - just as for a regular paintball marker i belive. You do that, and there goes your license to own 'em.
