Well, today, I am no longer employed by Catholic Charities of Monroe as a bus driver. Can you believe it’s been six months since the school year began? Wow. While I am sad that I will not return this school year, I am glad to know that, if I’m able, I will be welcomed back next year.

sorry about the job, though it's not like you've been able to work. is there some sort of policy in place that kept you employed for six months? are you on disability or something?

Yeah. We have a policy that allows for six months of medical leave, then the employee has to apply for long term disability benefits. Which, I've gotten that process started, but it looks like it may be a long drawn out ordeal itself. I've been getting lost wages from my auto insurance company as well.

Good luck with the surgery. At least they warned you about the pain, so you aren't wondering afterwards if there's something wrong.
