Good News: The infection has been removed from both hard drives!

Bad News: All data on both hard drives is gone.

Good News: I have two nice and shiny (empty) hard drives.

Bad News: I don't have the $150 or so, (depending where you go) to get Vista Home Basic operating system.

My computer, that is. I picked up a nasty bug designed to evade Antivirus programs. I don't know what it's called, or where it came from. But I *do* know that I have tried everything within my power, to no avail. I am currently running a complete restore with the hope that I won't have to buy a brand new machine. Surgery & Recovery took a bit longer than planned. But all went well. Now off to bed

Oh, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! They are greatly appreciated. :-)

Ok folks, it's 'Early O'Clock' and I'm heading to the hospital. If it goes as the doctors plan, I should be able to walk out of there sometime this afternoon.

I am not happy with the surgeon's office. They overbooked the appointments for Friday. So My surgery is now rescheduled for 9 A.M. on Saturday the 28th.

Well, today, I am no longer employed by Catholic Charities of Monroe as a bus driver. Can you believe it’s been six months since the school year began? Wow. While I am sad that I will not return this school year, I am glad to know that, if I’m able, I will be welcomed back next year.
