well, I am shocked by seeing you posted a book review for this book! what's next Twilight? ;) and just when I was getting used to the idea of you posting. tut tut. ;)

as I (hopefully) have an IQ higher then a turnip I can't bring myself to finish this book. *sigh* so I feel your pain.

So, not only is he pilfering directly from George Lucas, but he's choosing to pilfer from his worst movie.
*shudders* Copying from TPM is just a crime against good....well, everything. Writing, characterization, plot -- books in general, really. Entertainment.

The flaws are so numerous and often repeated that reading this book all the way through was like listening to fingers being drawn across a chalkboard while water was slowly dripping on my forehead and ants were crawling across my legs.
ROTFLOL, then reading it (or just forcing your eyes to glance at the pages) must have been a truly memorable experience. :) I'm SO glad I never started reading these.

I could NOT get into this book, and that is very rare for me.

Maybe you can send your copy to me. I think I have some people at my agency who qualify.

We had someone score in the 2nd percentile on her verbal section when she took her psych test. I don't think we're hiring anyone with an IQ of over 100 next month.

Yes it does. It's a lot of fun when I start making them write reports, and then they get them when they're covered in red.

We'll have a new sheriff on January 1st. Hopefully, he'll tighten up on hiring standards.

Doin' okay. Just finished the school semester myself, so I'm trying to convince myself to do something productive during the break. We'll see how that works out.
