Get over it - Obama was born in Hawaii

Oh my god, Ron, THANK YOU. I'm glad someone else is as tired of seeing this idiocy as I am. It is not national news; it is just ridiculous.

OT, but The Daily Show had a hilarious bit the other night about the "birthers". Definitely worth watching.

I was seriously shocked when I saw that on the front page of Y! this morning. Seriously--this nation is in how many crises right now, and this is the best thing people can spend their time on? Seriously?

What seals it for me (not that I ever questioned it) is that they had his birth announcement in the paper in Hawaii.

So gee, did the Democrats feed that false information to the newspaper on the off chance that this child might run for President someday? You know, back in 1961 when the idea of a biracial child growing up to be President was ludicrus?

Part of the problem is that the mainstream media gives airtime to these fringe factions of the right wing. Otherwise, no one would even be talking about it.
