I've been trying to get to SCA fight practice for months, but I said to myself I have to go to church in the morning to go play in the afternoon, and often WalMart has been scheduling me in the afternoon on Sunday. Last week I managed to be off work and go to church, and practice was canceled and moved to Monday due to the Labor Day weekend events. This week I have Sunday off, but practice will be canceled due to the Marshall's daughter's birthday. And of course I am still lacking my torso armour (bought a kidney belt to cover the minimum in April but it has yet to arrive). What is wrong with my life?!? Am I just not supposed to be in the SCA?
