Dear friends,
Have a major favor to ask that won't take much of your time or energy (or money!).
We've got a problem with the RH website-- many of our links from all over the internet seem to be broken, and our website traffic is down, and we're rapidly losing search engine placement, and it's hurting business.
If you have an LJ/Blog/Facebook/Twitter/Any other webspace account, please, please, post a few links to our website. If you have any friendly mailing lists that allow you to post links to things, that's an option as well.
Please post links to the site directly, or to an article, a pattern, some clothing, notions, or the blog. If you can write up a simple thing that looks like a wish list, or talking about a thing you've just learned-- anything to generate more traffic and better search engine placement. A handful of links from each of our friends can do a lot to turn this around.
Any of you can help with this-- you don't have to be someone who sews, or is passionate about historical clothing like I am (but if you are, all the better!). All you need is somewhere to post some links and a small bit of enthusiastic text, and you'll be helping us out a lot.
We really need website traffic to go back up. We're glad we've figured out what the problem is, and it'd be great if you'd help us solve it. Y'all know how badly I want a job with these folks-- and a job hinges on sales, and sales on web traffic.
