*squeeeee* The music! The Costumes! The freaks, the ulala girl, the colors and the drama! Eric&Christine&Gustave!!!!! *squeeees some more*
A Ramin Karimloo version would have been even squeeisher but we have our imagination, don't we?
Thnx for the vid post. Am glad the Phantom of the Opera DVD arrived finally and hope you'll enjoy it. But I'm sure you will :)
Can't wait to see the vid and whenever I'm listening to the song I wonder what scene you might have chosen. Till now I only think to know for sure the one to "a woman and a man". But hon, no stress, really! We know you've got the love ♥
Have you seen the Phantom DVD? It's much better than the cinema feed - they've cleaned up the sound, the screens in the set don't flicker so much, and they've mixed up footage of the three shows to get the best of each scene (which is a little disappointing as it means Passarino doesn't drop the apple in Don Juan any more!). It's really, really pretty - can upload it if it's not available in Germany yet.
I have to confess, I actually cut that line out. The problem is, the story is that they had one night together and then Erik/Spock ran away. It kind of works to have that happen with Jim-in-Lester, but then I can't use any scenes of Jim-as-Jim in lines about that night. And I do need it to be a coherent story, of course ;-) I promise I'll finish it eventually, but I've been having technical issues and I haven't figured out how to fix it yet.
Nooo not the movie, that was terrible! The DVD of the Royal Albert Hall performance - mine only arrived on Thursday and I've watched it several times through already :-)
