Got a call from the Dealership this morning. One of my fuel injectors is crapped out because it's leaking, so they have to replace that, and I think they said the throttle body has a lot of gunky carbon build up on it as well, so they're going to remove all the gunk in the engine, put in a new fuel injector, and cost me almost 600 more bucks. *

I'll have the car back this afternoon, more likely than not. Borrowing my brother's car right now.

As for weekend company, you can come visit if you want. My friend Snowdrift will be arriving on Saturday, since he's going to be my paying roommate. Ferret needs some $$$ to pay off mortgage after all. But hey, you could meet Snow, I could meet Dorie, we could all hang out and relax, I can give you this big box of books I need to give you, I can get you interested in the new Gamma World RPG... stuff like that.

Anyways, I should get back to work. Busy ferret work.

The new Gamma World is where the Hadron Collider made a huge mess of the world and collapses several universes onto this one and a second later, it all stabilized, and boom, totally f'd up world. You don't make a character, you totally roll it up random like, from origins to equipment and stuff. It's using the 4th Ed rules but it's way funkier, since... well... go read The Gneech's Gamma World review on the subject.

One of his PCs had a character who was a hive-minded pack of rats that could generate their own electrical field and who got LED christmas lights as random gear so now they could run around with a string of LED lights down the middle of the street, looking like a normal swarm of rats, and you'd have to tell yourself, that's not an enemy, that's a PC character.
