So this is a "Come look at the shiny Weyr I'm not allowed to blow up" post
Telgar Weyr is a brand spanking new club set in the 7th Interval, 10 Turns before the beginning of the 8th Pass. In our timeline, the Weyrs have become insular and withdrawn. A lung illness that is always deadly, though thankfully not horribly contagious, has thinned the ranks of Weyr and Hold alike. A cruel twist of fate leaves Telgar without a Weyrwoman, and only a soon-to-be gold weyrling to continue the bloodlines. Pride, arrogance, and tradition demand Weyrleader T'koro and Weyrlingmaster Th'io not accept help from the other Weyrs. Telgar's future is in the hands of the first Hold-bred queenrider in generations. Whether or not she will rise to the occasion or crumble under the pressure remains to be seen.
The board consists of Kacey Grannis, Melissa Amos, and Sheree Bice. Between the three of them they have thirty-two years of Pern Fandom experience. All three started off in old AOLPern Fandom, and Telgar will continue in that grand tradition. It's highly recommend all members have googlechat for planned and impromptu chat sessions. Play will start a few days before the hatching, with a planned date of April 23rd. Personas are being accepted for everything except Weyrleader, Weyrlingmaster or goldriders. So far it's been a blast just hanging out with the BoD. Ran into a few people I haven't written with in years. I'm already plotting out some deaths and some physical beatings. I like my greenrider, she's a hoot.
