Hey, I'm guessing most of you have heard about Hurricane Rita. Well, I was just in the car about 12 hours evacuating from it. Because the storm has moved north, it's expected that my town is going to take a direct hit along with Galveston. I'm not expecting to see my house or anything I left again.

Talk about a life in a bag...

Eek, I'm so sorry hun. These hurricans are really crazy and scary right now. I'm glad your safe tho', and I'm glad everyone is learning from Hurrican Katrina's mess.

I'm so sorry about that! I hope maybe it takes another turn or something and all your stuff'll be saved. If not, though, it's good that you evacuated, your life is more important than any posessions. Best of luck to you, hope everything works out. Glad you're safe.
