Home ... or not ...

I've been back home in Holland for about a week now, and though there is a lot I've missed about my country and I am really enjoying being ale to speak my own language without having to think about it. I can't wait to get back to my new home in the US

My old room at my parents' place now houses their old bed, the exercise machine, a desk, and a lot of my mom's clothes.

ugh, that's gotta suck. I never enjoyed going back to my father's house just on the other side of town for nearly the same reasons (my father never smoked though). Hope your trip home goes well too!

Having quit smoking myself (just shy of a year now!) it amazes me just how stinky a habbit it was. Makes me ashamed to admit I smoked for 11 years.

Well, you quit that is the important part. It's such a horrible waste of money, if nothing else ... but all in all the smell is the worst. My mom is being overly nice and washing all my clothes, even though I already told her I'll wash 'm all myself when I gte home since the smell gets into everything.
