Adopting a Cat from a Resue

For the last two weeks we've been trying to adopt a cute kitten through a rescue organization named the Homeless Pets Foundation and while I greatly wish for all of the 320,000+ pets in the Atlanta area that need a home to find a home, I want to greatly dissuade people from adopting a pet through this organization ( Read more... )

Quite a few of the pet organizations that work through Petsmart are fine. We got Dusk there, and got little or no flack from them.

*big hugs* I wish you good luck in rescuing some little boy or girl, and I'm sorry that this place is using the death of a loved one to victimize you.

This is really, really late, but I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. :( We've gotten all 3 of our cats through Amber, Steven's sister, and I didn't appreciate what a blessing that was until I read your post. *Huggles*

It turned out to be just fine, we ended up with Daisy and Belle and we're happy with both.

Mostly looks like the girl was trying to keep Daisy, and was just throwing up as many barricades as she could.
