As a hardened ontarian (although still a weak BCer on the inside) - I laugh at your "snow storm"!! We don't even drag the plows out for that piddly amount.....cars getting stuck? What the hell are they getting stuck in

Well, we just don't call to tell you about all the bad drivers who get really really, really stupid when there's snow on the ground. We figure that you already knew about them. Tulips are always special, e'specially in January.

I agree, the problem isn't the snow so much as it is the people who don't know what to do about it ... and the municipalities who run out of salt/sand for the roads after one day of plowing. We have no infrastructure for this stuff, and people get super-stupid (see: rioting over bottled water during a 4-day boil water advisory).
