And out of the gloom they rise! The misty and bleak afternoon calls to these slimy folk. Foliage devourers are officially congregated outside my kitchen window en mass. The largest is over 4 inches long, and the smallest has a thin and overly extended neck, they all are moist. I want to find my camera so badly and capture the image, I damn well

Snails are so photogenic. I once took a picture of a bunch of snails eating a jack-o-lantern. I don't know what happened to that film, though... :\
