cateris and I are aching, seriously aching for Dir en grey fic. There is such a lack of good fic, such a lack of fic at all. We are just a few people still writing it and i think it's sad. I hereby ask and invite you to come back and write. I know there are good authors in this fandom, i know there are fabulous authors in this fandom, i know that some are

:) I was reading your fics on quirke, and even though i know NOTHING of that fandom, they are so beautifully written i just can't help but read. Heh. :P

It would be awesome if you came back, though i know how it is once one steps out, especially if the fandom itself becomes so hard-headed, full of crap and uninspiring as this one has the tendency to. :/

anyways, well... communities...

direngrey_yaoi is pretty much the "best" (there is no truly fantastic fic community in my mind in this fandom sadly), though a lot of people, myself included post to jrockyaoi too. the problem with the latter is that it's flooded with gazette and alice nine and basically loads of crap (i like the bands, i hate the fics that exist), but it still generates quite some traffic to fics, because there are people there still loving diru. there's also jrockfanfic that is similar.

and then there are always the pairing-centric ones (there are many and i have a lot in my profile. die_shinya appears to be dead and is pretty much dead or at least closed to new members as the mod is absent. i think you are an old one there, but some people like the one writing this are seemingly forever locked out. hmmm. i don't know what happens to it though)

dir en grey fandom is in need of good fanfics, I know there are wonderful die/shinya, die/kaoru writers, but I think there are no kaoru/toshiya good writers at all, I wish I could collaborate and write something wonderful but sadly english is not my main language and it makes me harder write something long and well, with some deep plot.

But everytime I read these posts I wish I could ;_;

Yeah, i know what you mean and i agree completely. In my mind the Die/Kaoru part of the fandom has the best writers no doubt about it. Very talented, very creative and literate. They are good. However that leaves us die/shinya and maybe even more, kaoru/toshiya fans kinda on the outside. I almost haven't, to be honest, read in these two fandoms any fics that blew my mind, unfortunately. You should try and just write and then find someone to beta for you. I would do it but unfortunatelly i don't have enough time. cateris is killing me already because i haven't translated her kao/toshiya fics in weeks. heh.

the reason i do these prompt posts is precisely to try and move people into writing, because i think there are good authors out there that maybe need a push. i hope they'll take a bite and try at least. :)

Just wanted to let you know that when I was going through the prompts for drabbles, this one actually gained an actual fic! \o/ For me, that is, it's already long to write 4 pages so I count it as a fic XD D/T, I'll be posting it once I get it proofread ;)

Okay that's a relief, I was already wondering if the constant spamming is getting tiring XD I have to use the time now that I'm not studying yet (the last two weeks! D:) to write write and write x)

look at them and try. if the want, the desire to write, to try is there, by all means do so. if you can feel the poetry around you, in music, in everything, you can dream and write. just try and see where it takes you.
