Well, a stray cat adopted us. She's gorgous but very very thin. We've decided we're going to keep her. Her name is Pandora, and she's very friendly.
Pictures are
here.
The job for tomorrow is taking her to the vet to be all checked out. Spaying can happen somewhat later.

You haven't met our cats yet, have you, O Ross?

Actually, I'm not entirely sure where in Home Park you guys moved to.

Just to help you out:
Here is a list of low-cost spay/neuter clinics here in Georgia. Most will charge between $30-40 for a spay, which is cheap considering to get it done at a vet's office, it typically costs over $100.
The Pet Supermarket on N. Decatur Rd. (corner of N. Decatur and Scott Blvd) is having a vaccine clinic on 10/2/2005 from 3:30-5:00 and 10/30/2005 from 3:30-5:00. They can do all her vaccines, test her for parasites, and deworm her for pretty cheap (the prices are on the website). The store will be busy, but the wait is definitely worth the cost you'd save from going to a vet's office. You could also check with Petsmarts in the area, as they have vaccine clinics some weekends, as well. All the animals are seen by a registered vet (especially considering the rabies shot legally has to be given by a vet here in GA), so it's not like they won't inspect her for other problems, too.
Anyhow, just thought you might like the information! Cheap care for cats is good. :-)

On the other hand, she just managed to talk me into coming out to play, and feeding her.
