The valley is beautiful this weekend. I might just be saying that b/c I haven't been home for awhile, but it may also be the grand weather. For the most part, I've been helping my sister baby-sit. This is the first time I've comandeer-ed all 4 of her little ones. It's not as chaotic as I imagined, but still far from being a one person job. ( Read more... )

Man, they need to stop growing! I remember when Katelyn was just a baby! sooo long ago.

And, yes, going crazy in a place like Shizu is totally understandable. I haven't been to Shizu, but there's a a great Japanese stationary store (called Maido) in San Jose that Diana and I sometimes visit. I love their Miyazaki (http://www.nausicaa.net/miyazaki/) and San-X (http://www.san-x.co.jp/) things. San-X, in particular, is like crack...I swear...

FYI: Leia is named after Princess Leia. Father is a big fan.

I Love Shizu. The next time Diana is in town, we should try to go. They sell more traditional Japanese stuff rather than toys. Boo I know haha. But its all still pretty.
