Kyuhyun wasn't feeling that well. How can someone feel well if you just broke up with the person you thought was the destined one for you after catching her cheating you with your so-called-best-friend? Instead of anger, sadness filled him up for the fact that the people he thought to be forever on his side betrayed and lied to him but he still haven't cried. He wondered if he was too numb of pain that he can't let any single teardrop roll out of his eyes.
He hurriedly made his way to his locker with his face casted downward. It has been three days since the break-up and he looked like a walking zombie. He hadn't eaten because he didn't have the appetite. He was also skipping club practices and evading his other friends. He didn't want anyone to feel pity for him because that was not what he needed right now. What he needed was to feel loved.
Walking down the hall, he managed to catch a glimpse of the backside of a man wearing a red beanie, quite a contrast to the blue one he was wearing right now, put something on his locker.
"Hey!" Kyuhyun shouted as he tried running after the said man who still managed to escape after he slipped on the floor. He felt more worried when the running man, who looked really familiar, almost bumped one of the pillars when he was escaping. Whoever the man was, he was sure that he was very clumsy. He needed to bit the inside of his cheeks to stiffle the smile or laughter that was about to erupt due to the epic clumsiness of the other. He wasn't supposed to feel happiness. He was after all broken hearted.
Sighing, Kyuhyun made his way back to the lockers. He immediately opened his to see what the thing the person slipped in was.
A letter gently landed on his hand. 'Kyuhyun' was neatly written behind the envelope. Is this a prank or something? Are the other students that evil already to play tricks on someone like Kyuhyun? Or a loveletter? His heart clenched with pain. He wasn't sure if he was ready for that kind of emotions and relationship again.
He held it against his nose, the letter gave off a familiar scent of blueberries and strawberries, his two favorite fruits, which he never really mentioned to anyone, even to his ex-girlfriend and ex-best friend. He wondered why the man would know that. Or maybe it was by chance he used a paper with that kind of scent. But whatever the reason was, he finally felt relaxed and loosed (in a good way) after three days.
He carefully opened and started reading the letter.
Dear Cho Kyuhyun,
Hey! How are you? I guess this question is pretty rhetorical if you look at your own appearance. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ (*author’s note: if you know Mom Bianca, sujulovenl, you’ll know how much she loves using ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ in everything she types XD)
It must really hurt to be left broken-hearted like that by the people who you thought that love you with the same intensity of your love. But, I really have no say in that topic because I haven't experiened that yet (but I'm having something quite related to that, one-sided love ㅠ.ㅠ). In truth, I have always known that she cheats on you, not only with your supposed-to-be-best-friend but also other boys from the school. She's an idiot right? How can she do something like that to you? I guess some people are just very stupid... numb and heartless. She wasn't contented with you even though you gave her all your heart.
I know you think she's the one... But I don't. I think you're just remembering the good stuff. Next time you look back at all your memories, I think you should look back again.
I guess I'll call you a fool too(it feels great calling you a fool since I'm fully aware of how intelligent you are, especially in math.... no I’m not bitter... even if I fail at math big time) for loving someone like her. She wasn't exactly the girl I would be expecting to be your girlfriend. Just because you met her at the train station didn't meant that she's your destined one. Hello?! There are so many people in the train station everyday! I'm one of them (well I'm not implying that you can fall in love with me instead)! I guess you're really a hopeless romantic.
I've been troubled by what have you become in this past three days. You look like a walking dead person! You even became thinner and paler than before (though your philtrum's still very pretty like before). You can ask Ryeowook for food. I know he's more than willing to cook for you (just be sure to not interupt their yucky pda moments with Sungmin if you don't want to have broken limbs. Don't tell Sungmin I said this or I'm dead!) If you want you can go to our cafe. I'll treat you a sandwich and drink! (but be sure to come back and pay next time you eat there! There's a free drink if you bought any drink for 10 days^^)
You haven't cried yet right? I'm suggesting that you should cry. In fact, crying doesn't solve anything but it can lessen the sadness that had pent up within you^^. I would like to say that my shoulders are here for you to cry on but I can't since I want to stay anonymous.
I would be anticipating to see the Kyuhyun that I love soon and not some broken hearted punk. You are a disgrace to my cute Kyuhyun. You're ruining his image!
After all that things I wrote above, you must be wondering who I am but I'd rather hide my true identity from you. I can't reveal myself since I know I will recieve more teasing from you if I did.
By the way! About this whole letter. I asked my turtles and dog yesterday what would be the best way to tell you everything that I want to say and they suggested that I write a letter (yeah I know they couldn't speak with me but I got a feeling that's what they are suggesting when Kkoming ran all over my papers while my three turtles blinked at the same time at that direction! Can you believe it?! My babies are so intelligent... ㅠvㅠ)
Well enough of that. I know this letter is weird but all I want to say is move on. The world still continues to rotate and revolve around its axis and there are many fishes on the sea (well I'm not implying that there are a lot of Donghae and Hyukjae. What I'm saying is there are a lot more opportunities to fall in love again.)

Yesung (the the man who wrote and placed the letter on his locker, also a good and close Hyung/friend) never failed in making him laugh. How come he didn't realize those things? How come he didn't realize that he wasn't really in love with that girl? What he loved was the concept of falling in love with your destined person. How come he didn't realize that the destined one for him was Yesung?
His laughter slowly turned into sobs as he felt warm liquid freely move down from his eyes to his cheeks and to his jawline. He was indeed a fool.
"Hey," a husky voice timidly called out.
Kyuhyun turned to face the other. There were other students that were staring at him but his gaze was only focused to the Yesung, the guy wearing the red beanie.
Yesung reached his face to wipe the tears away, "You finally cried," he smiled, "I thought you were too numb to feel any emotions."
Tears continued to flow out of Kyuhyun's tear glands as he hugged Yesung, burrowing his face on his Hyung's shoulder and neck as he sobbed. His nostrils were filled by the natural scent of Yesung, sending waves of calmness through his body.
Yesung pacified him further by running his hand on Kyuhyun's back. The people around them were shamelessly oogling and whispering things about them but none of them cared, "I thought I'll never see my baby Kyuhyun again."
"Ehem! Ehem! This is not a public show everyone," Kyuhyun recognized the stern voice of Leeteuk, "Please do mind your own business."
Yesung had to stiffle his laughter when he saw Kangin adding some physical threats by crumpling a can of softdrinks to effectively desipitate everyone surrounding Yesung and Kyuhyun. Thank you, he whispered to their friends as Kyuhyun sobbed and hugged him tighter.
“I’m sorry... I’m sorry... I’m sorry...” Kyuhyun repeated against Yesung’s neck.
“Why are you sorry?”
“Sorry for everything... I’m so stu-“
“Shh...” Yesung hushed as he weaved his hand on the younger’s hair. “I’m just kidding when I called you a fool.”
“But I am... I fell in love with her... I was blinded...”
“You’re just a hopeless romantic,” Yesung giggled. “Who would have such fantasies of falling in love with a random person at a train station?”
Kyuhyun pulled from the hug and looked at Yesung through his watery eyes, “I believe in destiny... I thought that she’s the one for me... I-I...”
“What if ‘destiny’ was slapping you in the face?” Yesung asked as he finally let go of Kyuhyun and started walking away. “Like it’s telling you she’s not the one and there’s another person meant for you.”
Kyuhyun felt like a bucket of ice cold water was splashed to him. Immediately, he grabbed Yesung’s hand and said, “Hyung can I-I... can I-I...” can I fall in love with you?
“Hmm?”
“Your love letter sucks,” Kyuhyun laughed in reply. Why did he forgot that he can be him, the true Cho Kyuhyun, when he’s with Yesung?
“Eh?! It was a letter to make you feel better!” Yesung shyly blushed as he looked away from the younger.
“It did make me feel better,” Kyuhyun wiped the tears from his eyes. He was sure that with Yesung, he can only cry because of too much happiness or laughter. “I still consider it as a love letter. It’s for your Baby Kyu right?”
Yesung blushed deeper and muttered something.
Kyuhyun wrapped an arm on Yesung’s waist, “How about we go and eat first before going to club practice? And of course, it will be your treat for your baby Kyu.”
“Why did I fell in love with someone like you?” Yesung whispered.
I’m falling in love with you... Kyuhyun thought as he dragged Yesung down the hallways, feeling his heart beating faster.

"Ok. Go choose your partner now," the teacher announced as he finished explaining the new project that the students needed to submit.
Jongwoon sighed as he watched his classmates immediately paired up with one another while he, the weird one, remained glued on his seat. Ever since he was labeled as the weird one, no one would like to pair up with him except Ryeowook, his bestfriend. But this time, he knew he wouldn't be paired with Ryeowook since Sungmin, aka the pink bunny (also Ryeowook's not so secret crush), already invited him after he was rejected by Kyuhyun, the evil-witty-handsome-intelligent-tall-gamer-genius one (in fact the other kids on school have given Kyuhyun almost a thousand nicknames so Yesung wasn't so sure what to call him anymore).
Ryeowook sent him an apologetic look while Sungmin was busily hugging his bestfriend. In the end he will end up being paired up with the person left-out by everyone (just like him) or he'll do the project all alone. He shrugged it off easily and pretended that he wasn't hurt that his classmates wouldn't want to be partnered with the wierd one, with him. Instead of feeling bitter and down, he decided to analyze and evaluate the partnerships being formed.
First one, Jungsu, popularly known as Leeteuk aka the leader angel (he was their homeroom's class president), and Youngwoon, aka Kangin the raccoon (and the subtle bully). They looked like parents, an Umma and an Appa. Both of them were very chatty and talkative. Jongwoon knew that someday this two will be amazing MC's considering their special talking skills.
Second one, Heechul, the vice-president aka Heenim the great space star, and Hankyung, real Chinese name is Han Geng aka the Beijing fried rice (everytime he sees Hankyung's lunch he would see fried rice). These two were surprisingly a great combo, no, they were a prefect combo. They managed to balance each other perfectly. One might think this was impossible considering Heechul was the opposite of Hankyung (Jongwoon once concluded that while Hankyung was an angel, Heechul was a devil) but they were all proven wrong.
Third one, Hyukjae, aka the anchovy, and Donghae, the fishy. He wouldn't be surprised that these two would be paired together since they were practically glued to each other. Jongwoon had visualized them before as a pair of cute plushies that comes in pair, you couldn't buy Hyuk plushie if you are not buying Hae plushie and vice versa. He couldn't help but think how adorable and cute the two were but their constant pranks and fooling off do make an impact.
Forth one, Siwon, aka the favorite son of God, and Kibum, the normal one (normal personality but super handsomeness). In this simple case, Jongwoon concluded that they paired with each other so there would not be any more fighting between the girls. The last time the teacher gave them the chance to choose a partner, almost all of the girls battled it out to be Siwon or Kibum's partner. It felt like he was watching gladiators fighting in an arena if you ask Jongwoon. These two's ridicoulusly handsome faces always causes such events so Jongwoon wouldn't be surprised if someday they will be idols or actors. Those works will definitely work well with the two of them.
Jongwoon continued looking around the room for interesting couples he can evaluate. He caught Kyuhyun's eyes were focused on his direction. He looked around and checked if he was really the one the youngest among all of the students was looking at. He looked back at Kyuhyun after not seeing anything interesting in his direction, only to see him making his way to Yesung.
"Is there something wrong Kyuhyun?" he nervously asked. He felt like a sample being examined under a micrope as Kyuhyun's big doe-like eyes stared at him as he moved closer.
"Would you like to be my partner?" Kyuhyun asked straightly.
Jongwoon wasn't the only one with the shocked expression. Almost everyone looked at them with gaped mouths (and hurtful expressions from the people that the maknae rejected excluding Sungmin), Kyuhyun has been popular in rejecting everyone in becoming his partner for some unknown reason.
"M-Me?" Jongwoon dumbly asked. Right at this moment he still hadn't regained his coherentness and common sense.
Kyuhyun rolled his eyes, "No, no, no your turtles," hw sarcastically teased.
"You knew about my turtles?!"
"...Even about your dog...." Kyuhyun mumbled as he started blushing. Shrieks were heard all over the room while Jongwoon can't still believe of what's happening at the moment. "So can you be my partner?"
Everyone was now staring at Jongwoon. They anticipated what his answer would be.
Jongwoon can't seem to say anything. He was tongue tied. He can feel and hear loud heartbeats as he stared at Kyuhyun.
After minutes of silence Kyuhyun spoke up again, "It's fine if you don't want me. I can do it by myself just like the usual," he faced his back at Jongwoon with a disappointed look on his face.
"W-Wait!" Jongwoon grabbed Kyuhyun's wrist and spun him around, "I would love to be your partner."
Kyuhyun smiled in return, “Of course you would.”

One might think this was impossible considering Heechul was the opposite of Hankyung (Jongwoon once concluded that while Hankyung was an angel, Heechul was a devil) but they were all proven wrong.
Third one, Hyukjae, aka the anchovy, and Donghae, the fishy. He wouldn't be surprised that these two would be paired together since they were practically glued to each other. Jongwoon had visualized them before as a pair of cute plushies that comes in pair, you couldn't buy Hyuk plushie if you are not buying Hae plushie and vice versa. He couldn't help but think how adorable and cute the two were but their constant pranks and fooling off do make an impact.
Forth one, Siwon, aka the favorite son of God, and Kibum, the normal one (normal personality but super handsomeness). In this simple case, Jongwoon concluded that they paired with each other so there would not be any more fighting between the girls. The last time the teacher gave them the chance to choose a partner, almost all of the girls battled it out to be Siwon or Kibum's partner. It felt like he was watching gladiators fighting in an arena if you ask Jongwoon. These two's ridicoulusly handsome faces always causes such events so Jongwoon wouldn't be surprised if someday they will be idols or actors. Those works will definitely work well with the two of them.
Jongwoon continued looking around the room for interesting couples he can evaluate. He caught Kyuhyun's eyes were focused on his direction. He looked around and checked if he was really the one the youngest among all of the students was looking at. He looked back at Kyuhyun after not seeing anything interesting in his direction, only to see him making his way to Yesung.
"Is there something wrong Kyuhyun?" he nervously asked. He felt like a sample being examined under a micrope as Kyuhyun's big doe-like eyes stared at him as he moved closer.
"Would you like to be my partner?" Kyuhyun asked straightly.
Jongwoon wasn't the only one with the shocked expression. Almost everyone looked at them with gaped mouths (and hurtful expressions from the people that the maknae rejected excluding Sungmin), Kyuhyun has been popular in rejecting everyone in becoming his partner for some unknown reason.
"M-Me?" Jongwoon dumbly asked. Right at this moment he still hadn't regained his coherentness and common sense.
Kyuhyun rolled his eyes, "No, no, no your turtles," hw sarcastically teased.
"You knew about my turtles?!"
"...Even about your dog...." Kyuhyun mumbled as he started blushing. Shrieks were heard all over the room while Jongwoon can't still believe of what's happening at the moment. "So can you be my partner?"
Everyone was now staring at Jongwoon. They anticipated what his answer would be.
Jongwoon can't seem to say anything. He was tongue tied. He can feel and hear loud heartbeats as he stared at Kyuhyun.
After minutes of silence Kyuhyun spoke up again, "It's fine if you don't want me. I can do it by myself just like the usual," he faced his back at Jongwoon with a disappointed look on his face.
"W-Wait!" Jongwoon grabbed Kyuhyun's wrist and spun him around, "I would love to be your partner."
Kyuhyun smiled in return, “Of course you would.”
