At five o’clock in the morning, the sky was still dark and the roads were almost empty, except for delivery trucks and cars of people who work early, like idols, especially in demand idols like Cho Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun drove the car, going through his head the busy schedule for today and tomorrow. He have a musical today, and a MV shooting with his Yesung Hyung and Ryeowook tomorrow. The simple thought of spending the day with Yesung unconsciously made him smile. He loves the days he could spend with Yesung, teasing him and getting the most amusing responses from the older. It gives him so much happiness. Specifically, Yesung gives him so much happiness.
Yesung being a source of Kyuhyun's happiness wasn't so surprising if you ask him.
Yesung was one of the members who warmly welcomed him to the biggest idol group in South Korea. He treated Kyuhyun like how a good hyung treats his dongsaeng. So during his first month of being a Super Junior member, he slept on the floor of Yesung's room. Yesung's welcoming and warm aura compelled him to choose Yesung's room (aside from the fact that the other members were still hostile to him).
He slept on the floor most of the time but whenever he drank too much, to drown all his frustrations, he wakes up snuggling his barely sleeping Hyung. Instead of being angry, Yesung asked him if he's fine, even though he looked worse than Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun would hug his adorable and caring Hyung as a response, telling him to sleep with him. Yesung would shift to a more comfortable position with Kyuhyun still snuggling to him and tell him to wake him up. The two of them will sleep like that, until considerate members, such as Ryeowook and Sungmin, will wake them up for either schedule or lunch. Sometimes, the evil members will be the ones disturbing their sleep, Heechul, with his accomplice Eunhyuk, taking pictures of them snuggling together as blackmail material. Both of them slightly embarrassed of the photos, but Kyuhyun and Yesung found the pictures adorable too. Up until now, both of them have that pic from Heechul.
Most importantly, Yesung was the first one he saw when he woke up from his terrible incident that almost took his life. The older held his hand, crying silently, careful that he wouldn't remove any medical apparatus attached to Kyuhyun. They're the only people in the room so Yesung mumbled threats to him. If he doesn't wake up soon he'll take Kyuhyun's computer and sell it half the price or he'll play and mess up Kyuhyun's saved date at his PSP.
When Kyuhyun squeezed and held Yesung's hand, (he loves the way Yesung's hand fit perfectly with his), Yesung looked up to his face. Kyuhyun tried smiling at the older, it might look creepy, considering the tubes attached to his face, but at least he tried. Yesung cried. He hugged Kyuhyun and thanked every deity that Kyuhyun's alive. He cursed a lot to Kyuhyun too. If he got the energy, Kyuhyun would laugh at how his Hyung could immediately switch emotions.
Yesung lifted himself off the bed, moving his face closer to Kyuhyun. He kissed Kyuhyun's cheeks and begged, "Promise me you won't scare me like that again Kyu. Promise me you won't be involved in accidents again. Please..."
Looking at his Hyung's sincere expression, Kyuhyun nodded, not finding his voice to speak. And after that, Yesung cursed loudly for forgetting to call the nurses and Kyuhyun's parents immediately when Kyuhyun wakes up.
Back to Kyuhyun driving, a truck suddenly changed its lane and appeared in front of their car. Kyuhyun cursed, waking up his manager in the process. The last thing in his mind before crashing was how his promise to Yesung will be broken. He is so screwed.

I'm sorry.. I'm sorry
Kyuhyun never liked saying sorry. But this time, he did. He said sorry twice in twitter. First, for everybody who loves and cares for him. Second, for the people who he let down. He wanted to apologize to everybody, because he didn't like it when he causes people trouble.
But, there was another 'I'm sorry' he's reserving for someone. He can only pray that Yesung will forgive him.

Kyuhyun doesn’t think he can look at Yesung straight in the eyes when they meet. He broke his promise with his Hyung. How can he still show his face to him? Yesung must be angry at him., really angry.
However, when he, Yesung and Ryeowook met for their MV shooting, Yesung rushed over him, eyes fixed on him. As Yesung came nearer, Kyuhyun closed his eyes, ready to take any punch or slap from his Hyung (Yesung can be physical sometimes). But instead, familiar small hands caressed his face, warm and comforting, as if it was easing Kyuhyun's pain - and it did. Slowly, Kyuhyun opened his eyes, seeing worried light brown eyes skimming his body for his injuries.
Upon seeing the scratches in Kyuhyun's hand, Yesung took in between his hands and kissed it gently, a silent way of telling Kyuhyun it will get better soon. Ryeowook asked how he was feeling as Yesung continued checking him out, letting their Hyung to worry and check Kyuhyun’s wellbeing enough for the two of them.
During the shooting, Kyuhyun acted like nothing happened. He tried playing it cool, pretending that no accident happened yesterday, only the scratches in his hand and the staggered movements contradict his almost perfect act. All the while, Yesung did everything to make sure Kyuhyun was entertained. He didn’t want to speak or interact too much, but Yesung remained with Kyuhyun, never letting him be alone. Yesung clung to him like a clingy girlfriend does to his boyfriend, always finding opportunities and ways to get closer to Kyuhyun.
Everyone noticed how Yesung gushed over Kyuhyun. Ryeowook even joked, that YeWook shippers will be depressed when they see how much KyuSung moments were shared that day, when they rested at their van. Yesung defended by saying he’s only making sure that his GaemKyu Baby is fine, making Kyuhyun’s face red. He had to cover his face with his hand, so Yesung and Ryeowook wouldn’t notice the blush in his face, but it only made Yesung pay more attention to him. It made Yesung panic. Yesung instantly asked Kyuhyun if something was wrong as he tried soothing Kyuhyun’s back, flustering Kyuhyun even more. When Yesung tried peeking behind Kyuhyun’s hand, the manager called him and Ryeowook out of the van for their last shooting. The reluctant Yesung and Ryeowook left Kyuhyun alone the van, with Yesung telling Kyuhyun to call him if he feels hurt.

Getting bored of staying in his room, he went to Yesung's room and waited there. He sat on Yesung’s bed, back against the wall, staring blankly at ceiling of the room and hugging Yesung’s pillow. Immersed with thinking why Yesung wasn’t angry, Kyuhyun didn’t realize his Hyung already arrived.
"Kyuhyun-ah!" Yesung shouted as he opened the door to his room. He smiled cheerfully when he saw Kyuhyun, "Thank goodness I found you. I was starting to panic when I didn't find you in your room. I was about to-"
"Hyung, I'm sorry," Kyuhyun cut Yesung off, letting go of Yesung’s pillow. He hoped his usual mischievous face showed his sincerity. “You must be angry at me…”
Making his way to the bed to sit beside him, Yesung frowned before realizing what Kyuhyun was apologizing for. Yesung hit his head lightly, "Stupid. How can I be angry when you involve yourself in another accident?"
"B-But," Kyuhyun stammered, shifting his head and looking at Yesung with guilt, "I b-broke my promise that I'll take care of myself more."
"I guess you're really stupid," Yesung smiled, moving closer to Kyuhyun. They're only a breathe away.
Anticipating any kind of physical abuse, be it a punch, a kick, or a slap, Kyuhyun looked away and closed his eyes. Contrary to the pain he was expecting, warmth engulfed him. Yesung wrapped his arms around the younger's body, from the side, and rested his head on Kyuhyun’s shoulder.
"I'm thankful," Yesung whispered, "That you are still here in my arms, with only minor injuries. I'm thankful that you're still alive Kyuhyun-ah."
With that, tears finally left Kyuhyun's eyes. He didn't cry during the accident. He didn't cry when the doctors treated his injuries. He didn't cry when his parents cried. He didn't cry when the SM management reprimanded him. He didn't cry when the other members asked him if he's really fine. He didn't cry when the fans cheered for him. But now, Kyuhyun's crying. He felt hot strings of tears leaving his eyes as he hugged Yesung back, the Hyung that cared the most, the most special person in the world, the person that loves him the most, the person he loves the most.
"Thank you Yesung Hyung."
Yesung was always the one with Kyuhyun when he feels the weakest, when he lets his guard down, when he lets his emotions flow out. It always has been Yesung. And Kyuhyun didn't want another person to be his anchor other than Yesung.
