Skin splitting on fingertips

I'm wondering if anyone else is has a problem with the skin on their fingertips splitting open. My cocktail of medications has helped with all my aches and pains except for my hands. I am currently using Enbrel, MTX, Plaguenil, and prednisone. My hands are still stiff and sore and the slightest bump to my fingertips results in the skin splitting ( Read more... )

I have issues with fingers splitting.

I have Psoriatic Arthrits and I think more of it has to do with my Psorasis than other things. I've used Elidil, but I've found Eucerin helps me better than Elidil does.

Thanks for the info, I see that Eucerin is available otc and much cheaper than the Elidel. I'm going to pick some up and give it a try.

I'll warn you now, that it's greasy as all get out, but it really works! And don't be afraid to slather it on thick. :-D

having the same kinds of problems--the arthritis flares up at the same time as my skin condition but the drs keep looking at them as separate problems--"maybe arthritis?" and "contact dermatitis". nothing so far has helped.
