Humira and methotrexate injections

Hi, I was just wondering for those of you who do combo meds, do you do them on the same day or a few days apart? I havent done this combo before and I havent taken humira yet, but I've taken enbrel and it made me tired and so does methotrexate. Is it best to just get it out of the way over the weekend, or would it be better to split it up? Thanks ( Read more... )

Humira may also cause fatigue. I know that within two hours of injection (Friday nights, to give me the weekend to recover), my body basically powers down into exhaustion. I usually end up sleeping 10-13 hours that night. The fatigue may last, though decreasing over time, into Monday. It's my understanding that fatigue is normal considering what Humira does to the immune system and body. You may just want to try out the two different methods, all in the weekend to get over with and the spacing out, just to see what is best for you and how your body will respond to it.

Yeah I got really tired with enbrel (I'm assuming I'll respond similarly with humira) and the methotrexate completely drains me. I'm just wondering if I'll even be able to get out of bed if I do them at the same time. Thanks for the feedback :)
