I can say this because I'm an American. Maybe I'm just disenchanted or fed up with the ignorance, but I feel like most of the people around me are the reason for stereotypes about us. (See recent facebook drama on my wall about Rush Limbaugh's use of the term "slut" to describe a woman who is fighting for affordable birth control ... It disgusts me just to type that!)
