I, too, was once attacked by a hairdryer. Sadly, I threw it away forcefully from myself and into the sink---which was full of water. *meeps*
My body knows it's only twenty-fivish past one. It does. *is so far from tired it's not funny* Mom and I are going to a Christmas fair tomorrow, I mean, today, and I'm not sure how I'll manage. Christmas coffee! Yes, that's how. ;)
Ax Murder Hollow sounds like fun. :D *hugs you* I'm glad your daughter is doing well.
Hey, hope you stayed awake for the Christmas fair. I started my shopping, just a few items for my mother who lives in Florida. Maybe I won't have to do last minute mailing this year.
Here is a link to Ax Murder Hollow legend. This is the one I always heard as a kid, but there is one that involves gypsies which were in the area.
It sounded fun! I know for a fact that would be one version of hell for my husband. *Laughs while imagining him spending 5 hours at any kind of shopping event*
I love art, too. I'm always spending time at museums when I visit different cities. I love the Met; my kids hate it. Mom has burned the joy from their souls. Yet, both kids are artistic. Go figure.
I talk about finding some street artists' originals in NYC every time I go. I would like a creative piece that isn't commercial; however, I never like the price attached or I can't commit. Funny, word to use in response to art.
We are the same way with our Christmas shopping. He either runs to get an item while he is with me thinking he is being stealthy, or he goes the last minute to get the items on my list. Now that the kids are older, I just tell them to point this out to their father or that. I don't think I have ever been surprised. The few times he did try, I would accidently run across the receipt or the item itself. *shrugs*
