People die of pneumonia all the time; weakened and taking something legal but potentially problematic could easily have contributed to his death. His poor family-it's an awful thing, his death. *hugs*

It's interesting that so many lj entries have been made about him; it seems he connected or was admired so naturally, without real thought of how or why. I've also seen entries where people are saying how silly they feel by having a celebrity's death affect them at all or entries chastising people for saying it makes them feel sad.

Every time I see a similar post, the first thing I think is "Bite me." The point of these journals is to share our feelings, and we're allowed to feel sad. The worst post I read was by some twit who encouraged everyone to remember that other people died that day and to think of those people. Um, no? I don't know or admire everyone in the freakin' world; it's not reasonable for me to think with remorse in a specific way about their passing. Really, just bite me, Miss Misses the Point.

I don't think your list was populated by shamefully young men! Really! *hides own lists of that sort; snorts*

I'm splendid! I wish I had more time to write every bunny hopping about in my head, but then, I always wish that. ;) *hugs*
