Christmas break...

For the very first time in my time here at Hogwarts I am staying here for the Christmas break. My parents were disappointed when they received my owl letting them know that the school was running a ball during the holidays and that I would be staying here for it. I promised poor Tamuríl I would not send her on another journey for quite some time,

Which gown did you decide on your attire for the ball?

Do you think I should get the black muggle outfit with the maroon corset, or the red dress robe?

I ended up choosing the gold Novelty Glitter Knit. You know the Dominique style one by Lori Ann I pointed out in the catalogue a little while back? Yeah, that’s the one I ended up choosing. I'm sending an owl out this arvo. Any recommendations on the school owls? I've never used one before and I want one that’s actually reliable.

As for your dress, I’d be leaning towards the black outfit with the corset. So long as you can breath in it. Those things are nasty. Muggles are just weird in my opinion. Who in their right mind would wear one of those monstrosities day in and day out?
The black I think would fit in nicely with the theme. Being winter its kinda more neutral colours than anything and I think that red would stand out just that bit too much.
Have you seen what Isis is wearing yet? She hasn’t come out and said what she’s wearing. I think I’m gonna hafta pester her about it. I wanna see! Not that I’m demanding or anything…

Oh good, I think you made a good decision on the outfit, and yes I'm going with the corset. Yeah, should be ok to breath. I might put an elasticity charm on it so it'll give abit.

About the owls...I have no idea, I always use my own, Snidgity, cos she's so fast.

Hmmm...I'll just pick one when I get to the Owlery then. I'll take my chances.

Good thinking with the elasticity charm by the way. Should work a treat. Just be careful not to over-do it. Can become very very messy. :|
