I've never considered myself to have fibromyalgia. This is largely because of things like the fact that my....symptomology, let's say....can be otherwise explained, whereas the conditions inherent within fibro tend to eventually be attributed to fibro because they are undeniable, but there is no other explanation. Hm, I have that in my upper right leg, have since 10th grade in high school. I don't even think about it anymore. Then again, I don't have all of the other symptoms and crazy medical ailments like you do.
It IS silly to NOT go down this path to attempt to get qualified as disabled. My thought is that once you are qualified and are getting SSI, then you can start the process of getting investigated as a medical mystery. Good luck!

And also, fibro has a range of severities. Go figure, right? Honestly, I'm doing a hell of lot better than some of the people I know with fibro, which scares the holy crud out of me. But anyway, I think you're on to something here. I so hope it helps you get the help you need. You certainly deserve it. *hugs*
