I humbly submit that you forgot #4 -- location. In my extensive experience regarding kissing, I have found that it is very difficult to kiss someone who is in a different block, much less a different state.

OTOP, [1] virtual kisses can be fun. So can virtual hugs. I have a lovely little ASCII art piece of a teddybear holding the word 'HUG' that I'd love to post for you, but it just does not work without a fixed-width font.

well, sure...

Though the type of kiss will depend on the situation. I mean, if we're at an ordinary party at the Dixons' and there are 20 people watching us, and no one else is kissing me or you or each other, then my kisses might be a bit more conservative and "friendly peck" like (at most). I don't want to confuse people or be bombarded later with irritating questions from concerned friends ("Are you guys, like, dating?").

You're cute, and you smell nice, so sure, I would kiss you... but there are appropriate and inappropriate times and places for such things. Sometimes it's better to just hug, I think.

How does one kiss someone else? I can't say that I'm all that experienced in it so I have to admit, from the female perspective, I've always wonder what's the right way to kiss someone?
