Yesh, I've been incredibly lazy these last few days...nothing that very special did happen, but actually I do have a few things to tell...so where to start?
Okay, probably at the beginning, which would be saturday, feb. 3rd XD
Iris had her farewell party that day and surprisingly, she invited me. Besides Iris and Susanne, I didn't know anyone, but it turned out to be a very pleasant evening. We were at Jan's apartment and about 10 people. Sometime during the evening I went outside to the balcony with Iris, as all the smokers went outside, because if half of the people had smoked in that small living room, all the non-smokers soon would have died a very painfull death *lol* So I accompanied her and I don't know how we started, but we began singing, like we did at LARPs at the fireplace all the time and I really, really enjoyed it. Sang songs like "Roter Mond" (red moon, a german boyscout song ^^) and Hotel California and "Die Ethik der Füße" (how to translate? Probably "The feet's ethics" XD a fun song about being fast isn't too bad sometimes, specially when facing angry husbands of the girl you had a nice night with and so on =) ) after I finally remembered lyrics and melody again. Oh, and "Ula Drake", gosh how I love that song! And I really have to say, our voices just fit together, as Iris sings a bit lower than me, and it really sounds pretty nice together! After a short while Tony, a chinese friend of Iris and Jan whose name is actually Ning, joined us and we sang a bit for him (and I managed to impress him by singing 逆风 out of memory XD) and after he left, Jan and Liam - a really, really nice Irish guy - joined us as well. Liam sang some gaelic songs for us and as I told him, that I knew a song that has a gaelic chorus he wanted me to sing it. So I sang "Suil a ruin", or the chorus of it. Just for notice: I really don't know any gaelic, just practiced that song over and over again ^^ To my very pleasant surprise he told me that he actually understood what I've been singing and that I'm singing with a northern irish accent *lol* But hey, my gaelic is understandable! XDD
The rest of the evening we spent singing on the balcony and as it grew to cold we went inside and talked a lot. Before we left we exchanged mailaddresses with Liam and he told me, if I ever came to Ireland (which I will definetely do some day!!) I should give him a call and he wrote his phonenumber down as well^^ Now I have to wait for Iris to come back online again when she's home in Germany, as she has the paper with his email and number.
Besides that, nothing really special happened actually. I spent a lot of time with Susanne and Felix and really enjoyed my time. We went to the Touch 9 twice, which is a really nice korean bar (with REALLY cute waiters! *___*), once we spent the whole evening there talking about god and the world, it was really nice! Second time we were there after having dinner at some nice little italian bistro and just were there for about 2 hours. I had bought some magazines before (two focussing on korean stars, like DBSK, SuJu, SS501 and the like ^^) and was skimming through them when one of the waiters came along and asked me if he (!!) could have a look and if I could understand what was written. I told him, that it was in chinese and not in korean, so I could understand ^^ A few minutes laiter one of the waitresses came and asked if she could borrow the mag for a few minutes and after that all the guys and girls working there stood around the mag and began reading and discussing *lol* That really amused me ^^
Last weekend Susanne and me decided to go to sing karaoke, even if it was only us two and actually, I really enjoyed my time! We spent 3 hours at the KTV, singing lots of japanese songs (we brought the lyrics along XDD) and singing "Dschingis Khan", but to our suprise the displayes lyrics were english! So we just sang the chorus in german and the rest with the displayed lyrics, as neither of us knew the german text *rofl* Then we tried Evanescence - Going under and now I know why all the singers bend forwards and backwards while singing high or powerful, as I did exactly the same during the chorus XD
It's really hard to sing like Amy Lee, but I guess I did a quite good job ^^
Then Susanne discovered how to use the remote control to search for songs (cause sometimes the books they have there are really confusing, specially the korean one as I have no idea how the korean alphabet is sorted ^^) and I wrote down all the numbers of DBSK, SuJu and SS501 songs I found, but I'm still missing some. Well, will write them out next time then ^^
I sang 4 korean songs as well, for HUG I had the lyrics with me, so that was more reading from my little book than looking at the TV XD Holding back the tears I could sing nearly completely out of memory *proud* but I'm still missing some parts, so I have to practice for the next time ^^ And I heard someone sing Yoochun's 여우비 (Yeowubi - Fox Rain) in the room nextdoors and I SO wanna sing it myself!! I'm madly in love with that song, sooooooooo beautifull!!
Okay, I guess, that's about what happened these last days...pretty pathetic for over 2 weeks, mh? Nya, it's vacation, so I don't really have that much to do. Tonight I'm going to 无道口 with Susanne, as we wanna take a look at all the peddlers that are selling their stuff there on the street as soon as it's dark XD Maybe I find some nice books or some plunder I don't need *lol* But I'm really glad, that I have something to do this evening, as I'm growing reeeeaaaally bored...*sighs*
