My birthday ^^
Well, because I'm not only the clumsiest person on this earth, but also the most forgetfull, I actually forgot to pay my internet-fees and didn't have internet for the whole weekend *slaps self* Yeah, sometimes I'm incredibly stupid...ah well, here's the review of my birthday ^^
Okay, actually I thought this would be the lonliest birthday in my life and probably the most boring as well, cause til friday I had no idea what to do. Then Helen mentioned my upcoming birthday in class and Tea was terrified that I had no idea what to do *lol* He insisted I should celebrate it and then he began planning XD
Helen had some kind of dancing competition (nothing official though, she does breakdance), so we decided to go and cheer her on and dance a bit for ourselves (just the "normal" dancing though, I would take "break"dance literally and break all my bones XD) and meet up at 7.30pm in front of the KFC, so we could grab a bite before we would go to that club were the competition would be held. I received an SMS from Karam later on friday telling me that we would meet at 6pm already and that there would be BBQ at her place. That made me pretty happe, because I haven't had BBQ since I've left Germany and all of you guys telling me that you have BBQ every weekend didn't make it any better XD
Anyways, Susanne and me went to KFC at 6, but we didn't see anyone, so we waited outside. A few minutes later there was suddenly an arm around my neck and when I turned around, Tea was behind me, acting surprised and all "Oh, I didn't see you guys!" *rofl* He led us inside KFC, were Ulrike and Hye-eun were also waiting and after he finished his fastfood (and I really still wonder why he ate before, even though he knew that there would be BBQ later? Oo guys...) we left again to wait outside for Helen. We talked a bit and now I finally know that Tea is younger than me as well, though only by 2 months. Oh, and he was complaining that all of us girls were so tall *snickers* Me and Hye-eun were wearing high-heeled shoes and Ulrike is a bit taller than me even without high-heels *rofl* Anyways, Helen arrived a bit later and we went to Karam's place, which is about 5mins from Wudaokou. We talked all the way and when we arrived, the BBQ was already ready and all we had to do was eat ^^
Karam actually made everything (well, besides the sausages XD) herself and she had awesome potato- and noodlesalad, which actually tasted totally german, there was german mustard and mayonaise and it was an absolutely gorgeous birthday dinner! There were a lot of people I didn't know, Karam's roommates and their friends, actually a few germans as well, and we really had some nice chats while eating. One of them made a delicious fruit-ice-shake and karam made surprisingly yummy mung-been-milk-shake ^^
We talked a lot, a mixture of german, english, french and chinese and when it was dark, they actually had a really nice surprise for me. At around 8.30pm, when it was nearly dark, I suddenly heard them sing happy birthday in chinese and they came out on the balcony with a chocolate cake and lit candles on it. I was so happy, I could've cried, honestly! I blew the candles out and made a wish and we took a few pics, of the cake, me and the cake, me blowing the candles out and a few group pics and as soon as I get them I will post them up as well ^^
Then I began cutting the cake and we ate it and Susanne left when she had finished hers cause her stomach made problems or something like that (honestly, it took me ages to convince her to come with me..I mean..it was my birthday... =_=)...
Anyways! When I was halfways finished with my piece, Tea came up to me, asking Karam if she could take a pic of us 2. He was grinning mischievously and the way he held his cake was kinda obvious and well, then I had my own, personal, typically asian cake fight! YAY! It was SO funny! The moment Karam said "3", Tea smeared the cake in my face and started laughing and when I was looking like a mixture of O_O and T_T Karam took a pic *lol* Well, I had my revenge and basically everyone got his piece of cake, in the face *lol* Tea accidentally smeared some of the chocolate cream on my white shirt, but I rinsed it and well, even though you could see stenches still, it didn't matter, cause we went to the club after everyone had gotten the cake out of his face and we cheered with the champagne I brought (it was sooooo good! and they made me make a little speach! ^^;;), and it was pretty dark in there so you couldn't see it ^^
When we arrived there was already a crowd on the dancefloor cheering the dancers, who were showing off their really amazing breakdance skills! I was really, really impressed! After about 20mins there were no volunteers to dance left, so we - that is about 10 people - decided now was the time that we wanted to dance as well. So we made our own little ring of people and pushing on of us in the middle to show off a little dance ^^ It was fun! Then there was a big circle with the real dancers again and we watched again, only dancing a little on the side. Helen danced as well and she's really good! As is Karam. She doesn't dance breakdance, but I really enjoyed watching her dance, cause she has skill as well and it just looked really sexy without being slutty, I'm still impressed XD
Only thing that went on my nerves were 2 really fugly chinese digging me *sighs* Why is it never cute guys? It's the same in Germany...always fugly, old, slimy guys =_= Anyways, I left at about 11.30 or something like that cause I was wearing contacts and had something in my eye and it started burning and I didn't want to risk an infection (again...cause that's really painful!). Tea had to leave as well to catch the last subway, cause he lives quite far away. Ah well, not really, but cab would've been kinda expensive. I thanked him again and gave him a hug, cause it really was an amazing evening and I really, really enjoyed myself!
I really, really didn't expect it to be that awesome and I'm more than thankful that Tea convinced me to come! I have to thank them again!
Well, sunday, which is actually today, cause I have nothing to do and write it already to post it as soon as I have internet again, I didn't do anything special. Actually, I didn't do anything at all. Next week I really have to start studying again, cause it's only 2 weeks til exams *cough*
And when I'm back home, I'll celebrate with you guys again!
