This is totally beautiful for a lot of reasons, but what got me immediately is the perfect use of style and language. It starts out in an almost staccato-like voice, mirroring Dean's desperation, only to blossom into something astonishingly smooth and melodic when Cas drifts back to life and they kiss.

Definitely one of my favourite 7x02 AUs so far!
