Team Mates, Hallucinations and Alien Hussies - Does all the kissing really mean anything? In the first two seasons of Stargate Atlantis alone, there have been a grand total of 9 kisses. This means proper kissing, not a peck on the cheek or just a slight meeting of the lips that may or may not be defined as anything close to a kiss. I am not going to ( Read more... )

*claps* great analysis and I agree on all parts.
it really seems kissing means nothing in Atlantis (at the moment)

doesn't mean I can't like the TLG kiss, right??? XD

Thank you! I was wondering after I'd posted it if I was writing total crap.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with that...I mean it's not like any of us went that crazy over it...

Wow, you certainly thought this through... Interesting pespective/thoughts.
So, in conclusion, does the kissing mean anything Atlantis? Does it develop the characters? Does it actually mean we learn something? Is it all beneficial to the plot?

Honestly?

Not really.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. Atlantis doesn't seem very serious about its ships right now...

Thank you very much!

And all it's doing is annoying the fans.

*claps*

Very good analysis. Alot of stuff are open to interpretation, and TPTB love messing with us. *sighs*

Personally, and especially from a man's perspective, The Tower was utterly awful. But they do cut scenes, but still, that "woman" was new lows for me for Stargate.

Make the damn show darker, it damn well calls for it. But not darker sex, thank you. *shakes head*

It’s a little like the kiss between Jack and Sam in ‘Fragile Balance’, if you’re an SG1 fan.

I know I might get smite for this, and you really did your stuff and planned it out and all, but wasn't it The Broca Divide? *ducks and hides*

I thought that woman was awful. Or at least she seems it...I haven't actually seen the episode.

*Headdesk*

I know that. How on Earth did I get that mixed up? 'Fragile Balance' is the one with mini!Jack...that's not good. I may have been asleep when I wrote this.

Excellent anlysis, Aly (is it okay to call you Aly, or do you prefer Alyson?)

I had a very welcome giggle reading this and I couldn't agree more, especially on the cunning evilness of the PTB's; it really wouldn't suprise me if they did employ tactics like that. *shame on them*

Thank you. And most people call me Aly, so that's okay.

TPTB are a very evil bunch. They seem to enjoy torturing all the fans, especially the shippers. *Shakes fist at TPTB*
