Listening to “you’re the only one” by The Mile After, I can’t help but to think of the theory that there’s a match for everyone in the world.  And I think to myself about the mind and its deceiving ways.  How can you go on thinking this true, when there are trillions of people in this world?  What kind of percentage of people find there one true ( Read more... )

Hey, I paid attention in Social Studies today, and guess what I learned. Buddhism says that suffering comes through desire. And you are suffering a lot my friend. If there is a one true match for you, and since I believe in Buddhism greatly, I have one suggestion coming from my own beliefs. Don't desire that one match for you, don't ever feel the want of that one match waking up next to you in the morning. Don't desire happiness, you'll just chase it away. After today in Social Studies, my depression ended. I no longer desire and chase happiness. One day I know it will come to me. And maybe if you don't desire your true match, or dwell on the thought that you lost your chance spending your life with them, you may find someone for you.

P.S. In my own opinion I dont believe in the one true love thing, but I'm proud to say I'm not so experienced in that departement.
