Have just been through a harrowing experience... An encounter with a faulty smoke alarm in the building entry that went off constantly for 45 minutes until someone called the fire brigade to shut it off. Ever heard of labyrinthitis? Not many people have it seems... Its an inflammation of the inner or middle ear which plays havoc with your sense of balance. I've had it for about a week and a half now, with a bit of ringing in one ear which I am pretty sure is related to it all.
