You know what? This is just what I was talking about in my post... not everybody would've been able to say "I need to get out of here," only someone who is able to really honestly look at all sides of themselves. In that moment, when you got up and left, the uncontrolled became controlled again.

There's got to be a better place for you than this, Rhinox. *hugs*

You can't just kill these people because they are lazy fucks. I thought you didn't kill innocent people? Do you take your knives to work? Would you really cut this guy? This is completely insane.

That's just it, Tommy. In that minute, in my anger, I could kill these boys for what they were. I'd regret it later, but right then I was so mad that I wanted their blood.
I don't kill period. I came damn close to blowing that, so I left.

Yes, I do keep my twin knives with me for work. I also have two boxcutters that I use. All get used at work. I've a lot of boxes to open, quite a few straps to cut. I can't do my job without a blade.

see what happens when HR decides they wanna be too lazy to fix my situation with them?

I need to find out how long that stays on my rekkid.

You're going to deal with people like that no matter where you go, Jon. You just need to try and focus on your performance, and when the griping starts, tell management to direct it to the slackers.

Seriously, take care of yourself.

Honestly, Rhinox, that sounds very disturbing. Not to underestimate the annoyance factor of lazy co-workers, but you've given these things way too much thought. I'd say just try to get another job, but there'll always be people that are lazy or annoying wherever you go. You have to learn to cope with that in a non-violent way.

I have learned how to cope without violence. I left.

That's not really coping though, is it? It's avoiding the issue, and I doubt you'll be able to just leave work every time your co-workers piss you off.

No, leaving is my way of coping. When I reach that point, that's the only thing that'll work. There's no amount of talk or meditation or anything that'll bring me down any quicker. I just leave the situation and come back when things are calmer.

I'm pissed at coworkers 90% of the time. This time was just one too many. It usually doesn't come to this and yes, I feel comfortable in leaving whenever things get this bad.
