I had one of those dreams last night where you find rooms you never knew existed through a door in a place you used to live. This time, however, it was my parents' house. I have those dreams all the time, trying to get the 'precious' things from my family home, which is crumbling all around me. They are very unsettling. So much hugs and sympathy.

I'm so glad that Evil Bitch isn't getting what she wants out of this. And very glad you got legal aid. Even if it's too late for the house, it's not too late for some sort of justice.

I found out that I had got the legal aid and then discovered the house had been cleared and sold anyway. So, unless I wanted to give myself several years more angst and upset I decided to claim my legal rights. It's not the best solution but it's what I have to do in order to go on with my life.

I think that knowing you did get legal aid would help a little? Knowing the cause was worthy, and listened too? IYSWIM

Yes, it did help. I know I was right and she is an evil scumbag who will get her comeuppance one day. And I will point and laugh when that happens.
