Satellite 4

I had a really good time at Satellite 4, this year's Eastercon which was held in Glasgow. I met up with people I hadn't seen for a while, attended panels and programme items, took part in panels and programme items, and was entertained by a swing band and the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppets. I also drank a lot of real ale and forgot to have lunch on

Quite bizarre as well. He's worked Ops at the same cons you have, for, as you say, seven years.

So to decide NOW you are to be banned from working Ops if he's at the convention?

I've tried to make sure I'm never on the same shift as him. Why that wasn't good enough for him this time round I have no idea. However, I can't actually discuss it with him as grown up people do as I seem to suffer strange bouts of invisibility whenever he's around.

Well yes. Apart from his tunnel vision in your presence, he would need to be a grown up, to have a discussion too.

Given how he acted when he took over in Ops at the end of the shift you were on, in his bid to empty the room of everyone it contained who was not on the next shift, in order to get rid of you without actually noticing your existence... I'd say he still has quite a lot of growing up, to do.

That wasn't the only incidence of bad behaviour because he wasn't getting his way.

Gosh, I must be a hard act to get over after seven years!
