The stores should offer complimentary removal them for you then. Because people just don't realize anymore or take things to a tailor who will set them straight. Maybe Oprah needs to do a segment to get the word out. :-) I'm actually okay with leaving the pockets sewn up if it improves the way the garment hangs (or keeps men from jamming their hands in them constantly), but the sleeve tags are visible and just look silly.

It's a mistake easily made. It took me a couple of weeks to realise I had left all the pockets sewn up on my last jacket,
