question.....why do jewish people and chinese people celebrate the new year with religious focus? or do you know....cuz it just seems weird to me, christianity doesnt celebrate a seperate new year, nor do muslims...I'm just wondering what occured on this date I guess....haha
ps dude, come to fredonia anytime you can....we'll all be home oct 12th-16th though too, so word to that
Well part of it, for jews at least, is that we have our own calendar and we our on a different year (5766). It's also a little more than the New Year but i'm not exactly fully sure what else it's about. It's alot of praying about giving thanks for allowing us to get through and struggles and still be here another year.
Hopefully i'll make it out sumtime. Oh and maybe this time when you're home visit bethany 90% and everyone else 10% cuz last time i didn't see you when you were here.
yeah i only saw bethany like 60% anyways, i didnt have a car, ever really so it blew hardcore, Im planning on visiting RH whack gradu8 style though on thursday when my dads off and i can use the car

Mrs. Patton said on the announcements that today was the start of Ramadan, but Shadab was in our first-period class and said, "Uh, that's tomorrow."
Staffeld suggested he go complain.
