7. Point to a section from one of your favorite vids you've made and explain why you're proud of it.
I'm super proud of the segment at 2:37-2:39 in Scream & Shout where I took two existing cutscenes from different games to make it look like it came from one. In one, Ezio (the dude holding the sphere) is wearing a dark outfit. In another, he's wearing a light outfit with the added ghosting effect of Altaïr moving to the right. There was some masking and cropping there, and I'm super proud of it because it's the kind of effects use that people wouldn't normally pick up on but adds to my goal of trying to tie these characters together as much as possible within the narrative of the vid.
I don't have any vids currently in progress, unless you count the song I edited for an MCU vid I have planned for when the Cap 2 Blu-ray comes out.
34. Do you ever get rude reviews and how do you deal with them?
I haven't really gotten any rude reviews, especially not lately. If I get a review that may give me pause, I usually just say thanks and leave it at that.
I typically favor music over lyrics when editing, which is why Losing My Religion felt very much out of my comfort zone because the lyrics are both well-known and so prominent in the cover version.
15. Do you work mostly from start to finish, or do you vid sections out of order?
I mostly vid linearly. The ones where I vid out of order tend to be ones where the narrative of the vid is less important, such as my multifandom ones.
19. How many times do you usually revise your vid before posting?
I tend to revise as I go along until I'm happy with entire sequences in vids. Once I have a full timeline, I hardly ever make any significant changes unless it's a clip or two that can easily be changed without affecting the surrounding clips.
20. Choose a section from one of your earlier vids and talk about whether and how you'd do it differently now.
One of the things I hardly do at all nowadays are short crossfades. The section from 2:31-2:50 in Glorious is full of them. I remember I

It's been pointed out to me a few times this year that I have a knack for finding good cover songs to vid. So I guess that's gotta be one of my strengths, ha!
6. Share one of your weaknesses.
The importance of color is one of those things I tend to forget about in vids. Sometimes when people point it out in a vid, it's something that was unintentional or was already in-source.
26. Share three of your favorite vidders and why you like them so much.
fan_eunice - For her ability to eke out so much emotion, and all usually with just a straight cut as her main editing tool.
hollywoodgrrl - For her innovative cutting and fearlessness with trying different things.
Prodigi - For his incredibly clean style, no matter what the type of vid from fast action to slow drama.
