This evening I decided to leave my room, just to wander around, and I noticed this big hole in the ground made of concrete and filled with water. Inside the building. Well, there was one outside as well, but this one was inside. I dipped my foot in and the water felt wrong. I don't know what was in it, but it was just wrong ( Read more... )

Sometimes indoor pools are heated, and then they're much nicer. Still nowhere as good as a, um, hot spring, but better.

Usually they're so full of chlorine, though, and that's supposed to kill the germs in the water or something... I think it just smells weird, and it makes your eyes sting.

Right, pools are what they're called. Okay. Yeah, this one was heated.

Chlorine? That's what must have been in the water, it smelled weird, too! Why don't they just use salt? At least that's natural.

It'll be this weekend. We'll drive down on Friday evening and drive back up on Sunday evening. Food and accomodations will be taken care of by yours truly although I'm not sure if anyone else will be joining us.
